Drs. Martti Putkonen, Anita Poling, Jennifer Olive and their team are committed to bringing you and your pet better health by practicing the science of Veterinary Medicine. Based in northeastern Ohio, Avon Animal and Bird Hospital was founded in 1973 by Dr. Martti Putkonen. Since then, our staff has been providing compassionate animal care to the Avon area.
We are a full-service animal hospital whose mission is to provide the highest standard of quality and compassion with veterinary care. We genuinely care about our patients and welcome new clients to come and see what we are all about. We believe in staying up to date on the latest information and therapies available and giving informative and supportive service to our clients, all while maintaining a superior working environment for our employees.
